XRP Ripple Launches Liquidity Hub
- Fintech firm Ripple has announced their plans to launch the Ripple Liquidity Hub, a “groundbreaking new way for enterprises to easily and efficiently source digital assets from the broader crypto market,” says the team behind the project.
- Five cryptocurrencies will be supported at the time of launch, including BTC, ETH, LTC, ETC, BCH, and XRP.
- The first partnership that will utilize the new service is Coinme, a payment and crypto ATM company that has recently announced a partnership with Walmart.
- The hub will aims to solve specific issues that institutional customers may experience such as delivering a streamlined API to improve program integration and eliminating pre-funding requirements to free up working capital.
- Asheesh Birla, general manager of RippleNet, said that “Ripple has plans to add additional features such as support for staking and yield farming, and to explore liquidity from decentralized exchanges.”
